Jet Protocol Team To Participate In Solana Season Hackathon

The Jet Protocol Team has entered as a contestant in the Solana Season Hackathon starting on May 15th! The Solana hackathons have gotten bigger and better each time around since starting last year and Solana Season is offering up to $1 million USD in prizes and funding. Can the first place contestant from the very first Solana hackathon win again? Read on to learn more!

We’re looking for a few more talented and passionate team members to help us. Come build out Jet Protocol’s vision for the most useful and capital efficient DeFi lending and borrowing protocol yet!

Specific skills and backgrounds needed include:

  • Solana blockchain knowledge

  • Rust programming ability

  • DeFi development experience

  • Trading/financial systems background

  • Front-end development perspectives on what makes good UX

This is not only an opportunity be a part of a winning hackathon team lead by Wil Barnes, former first place contestant of the very first Solana hackathon. We’re also offering the opportunity to become an early full-time member of the Jet team have a major role in conceptualizing and building the next generation of the borrowing and lending capabilities of Jet V2.

Jet is founded by two blockchain industry veterans formerly involved with the Ethereum ecosystem. Combined we have experience at MakerDAO, ConsenSys, and MetaMask as well as the staking and governance platform Lunie. We’re bringing our 10+ years of combined experience to build a borrowing and lending experience on Solana that rivals any of the existing platforms.

Our main product focus is to provide a great user experience with safety and capital efficiency top of mind, all made possible by the power of the Solana blockchain. Help us lay the groundwork for even more innovative financial products to be built within and beyond the Solana ecosystem.
